Microgaming recently previewed a brand new online slot machine called Bridesmaids at the ICE Totally Gaming Exhibition – an annual event where some of the biggest names in the online and offline gambling industry get to showcases their latest games. This year’s event took place at the London ExCel center.

We don’t yet have many details about this new branded slot machine, but we do know that it has 5 reels and 40 winning paylines. It is based on the 2011 hit comedy from Universal Pictures which starred Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy and Rebel Wilson, all of whom appear on the reels as regular symbols. It also has a multi-level bonus round to win big prizes from and it will no doubt have Scatter Symbols and Wild Symbols and perhaps even Stacked Symbols which can fill entire reels.

Unfortunately the new Bridesmaids slot machine from Microgaming will not be available in casinos until August this year, so you still have a few more months to wait before you can play on this game. We expect that it will arrive over Microgaming’s Flash, download and Quickfire platforms and it may also be launched on Microgaming’s mobile casino platform as well, which is known as Microgaming Go. This currently unreleased slot machine is NOT a progressive jackpot slot, which means that you will be able to play on it in the real money mode AND in the free play mode.

In addition to being able to find this new slot in UK online casinos which are powered entirely by downloadable and non-downloadable Microgaming casinos (e.g. Betway Casino, 32Red Casino and Roxy Palace Casino), you will also be able to find this slot at sites like Mr Green Casino, bgo Vegas and Casino Euro. These casinos all have a selection of Microgaming’s slots which can be launched over the company’s non-downloadable Quickfire platform.

Microgaming’s CEO, Roger Raatgever, said “Bridesmaids is a comedy classic! The storyline, characters and genuinely hilarious stand-out scenes combine to make it one of the most successful comedy films of all time. We’re thrilled to have signed another licensing agreement with Universal. Furthermore, the brand adds a completely new dimension to our branded game portfolio – we’re excited for its launch later in the year.” These words came from a recent Microgaming press release.

Microgaming’s licensing agreement with Universal Partnerships & Licensing is just the latest of several agreements that this award-winning software provider has managed to secure over the past few years and it means that Microgaming’s impressive portfolio of branded slots will soon have one more great title to check out. Some of the other best branded slots from Microgaming which most of you should be familiar with by now include The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Tomb Raider 1 and 2, Battlestar Galactica, Terminator 2, Hitman, Jurassic Park and Playboy.
