A new live dealer blackjack game from Playtech called Majority Rules Speed Blackjack Live is available now at several top-rated UK online casinos such as Betfair Casino, Mansion Casino and Casino.com. It’s a live dealer card game with a twist, and the emphasis focusses on “ask the audience” community play.
The game can be launched either instantly in your web browser or from within the Playtech casino download client. It’s available on desktop and mobile, and just like most online live dealer casino games today, it’s only available in the real money mode. However, the wide betting range caters to all budgets and allows you to play one hand from as little as £1.00 up to a maximum of £2,500 per hand.
The game has eight regular decks of cards, and when you take a seat, you’ll notice that there are two seats with multiple players allowed to sit on one seat per round. With Majority Rules, players get to vote on Hit, Stand, Double or Split betting options and the most popular action is applied on all active players on the seat. A 50% or greater vote is needed to trigger an automatic action. Best Strategy is used when there are fewer players sat at the table.
With this mode, players do not get any action offers, and their hands are automatically resolved based on the pre-defined best blackjack strategy flow. This may sound a little more confusing to some players than it actually is, and it should only take a couple of hands to get used to. Before you sit down, you can also decide certain preferences by switching them on or off, such as Automatic Double (my bet is doubled) and Automatic Split (my hand is split). Preferences can also then be changed in-play via the game settings function.
