This month two new games have been released by different gaming software providers that promise to offer plenty of excitement.
The first is from Probability, and is meant for the mobile gaming industry. It is a slot game based on the movie Grease, starring Olivia Newton John and John Travolta, that was a rage in the 1980s. This game has several firsts. It is the first game to be developed as a result of the licensing agreement between Probability and Viacom’s Paramount Mobile Entertainment. Probability has been working on the engine for the last six months. The Chief Executive Officer of Probability, Charles Cohen, described the advantages of this engine at the release of Grease. He said, “This new engine means we can very quickly design and deploy slots games with features that will stand up well with the best on-line slots.” Grease is a feature rich high quality game. It has three reels, seventeen paylines and a bonus mini game. Those players who have seen the musical hit will fondly recall the scenes, characters and songs from the movie as they play this new slot game. An added advantage of Grease is that it offers an average payout of 95%, which is the highest for its genre of games.
The second new game on offer is Battleship: Search and Destroy from Wagerworks. This game was demonstrated at the ICE(i) expo in London last month and generated considerable interest among the gaming fraternity. Battleship is a slot game with excellent features. It has 25 pay-lines, stacks of three wild symbols on every reel and two bonus rounds.
